I was born on April 13, 1965, in a land called New Jersey. I went to the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, majoring in music. I'll finally have my Bachelor's in May 2010. I have an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. Becoming pregnant with my daughter Penelope, who is now 21, I settled in Maine, and I commenced life as a mom. I still live in Maine with my partner Guy Polyblank, and our son Rory, age 11. I run a landscaping business in the summers called Artemisia Landscape Gardening, I teach music, I do websites, I work as an Ed Tech at Medomak Valley High School, and I am a city councilor. I serve on the Knox County Budget Committee, I served on the Gateway One Steering Committee in 2009, and I am an Emerge Maine "Women Leaders for a Democratic Future" graduate. I have many interests and have worked hard to be reasonably competent in a few different areas, all in an attempt to try to make this old world a better place than I found it.
